I just saw that there is some nose manual contest thing going around on the internet and Im in it haha had no idea. They used a clip of me from a Levis trip back in Feb 07. Anyway I think this kid won by long shot! I've never seen or heard of Justin Burns before but Im into this little section for sure!

My wife and I had a joint 80's dance party for Friday night for our birthdays, 26 for and 22 for her. 4x4- 4years and 4days apart haha. It was a fun time for sure. Here are some photos from it.

We just got to Austin after a stop at the Allen park. I talked Morgan into coming out and riding with us. I took a few snaps of him and Alex. We'll prob be here for a few days riding the trails and T1 at some point.

Nathan, Seth, Shane, Chris and myself decided to take a little trip to get out of town and away from the bad weather. Guess what...it was in the 60's the whole time we were gone!! I guess thats the way it works haha.

Went to Ollies and the DK/System. The only photos I got were of Nathan at DK cause I was trying to ride as much as I could, so sorry for the lack of photos.

We went to a really nice kinked rail and Nathan got a few heavy clips.

Day 10
Not much happened today. We tried to ride this kinked rail at a collage 10 min north of LA. We got to ride it for about 20 min and then got the boot, so nothing went down. After we got the boot we made a quick trip to LAX to pick the Boss Man, then off to Macaroni Gill for a team 4 down dinner!

Day 6 was a day off day for us so we just sat around playing the Wii for hours! Then took a trip up signal hill for a sunset view of Long Beach. Then back to the Wii for more tennis haha!
Day 7 we pretty much just rode Santa Anna banks for 4 hours.
Day 8 was another slow day due to Eggy (Nathan) sleeping in to much. So all we rode today was Cherry Park in Long Beach. About to go ride a bowl that is pretty RAD from what I hear. I'll try to get a few snaps from the session to put up later.

Day 4 Dakota took us to an amazing school that he knew about. We rode there all afternoon and then ate a free dinner on Fit haha, not a bad day! Sorry no pics for updates for that day. I do have some from last night session (Day 5) at Daewon Song's private training ground. Also I do believe a web video will be up soon from our session too. That place is so fun!

Nathan made it in.

Went and rode around East LA. Hooked up with Boy and E-man for a while and rode their local park with them. Those guys are awesome!
Nathan was able to film a line just before dark.

DAY 3
Today we just went to this one spot right next to the ditch that was in "Gone in 60 Seconds" where they have the car chase scene and a school where Nathan laced a nice rail move!

Well United is back in Cali again filming for the video, but this time its Nathan and myself and the new world traveler Coxy for filming the stunts! Nathans flight got delayed so he doesn't get in till midnight now. James is fighting the heavy eye pretty bad. Here he is at 22 hours of of no sleep...

Made it back to TN last night around 2am after a 13 hour drive. Got up today rode Downtown. Nathan is back on his horse after a week off from a hurt foot. I head back home tomorrow night and Steve, Nathan, and Walter will be headed to Austin on Thursday to hit up some spots out there. I got Steve to do a couple move for me tonight so I could make an update tonight.

So we made it to Rochester last night and are staying at Steve's house for a few days. Went out today for a bit of a ride around. Steve is filming for a Props Bio so we went to a really cool spot in downtown. I had a chance to snap a shot of him to make an update for yalls. I on the other hand was not riding today cause I almost got KOed skating this quarter at Blackout today. I was doing some rock to fakies and I guess I got lazy and hung the trucks and fell straight to the back of my head haha. It hurt so bad. I got a mild case whiplash and a sore tailbone. I hope to be riding in the comp tomorrow but we'll see.

Trick or Treat Contest

I am in Boston at the moment going to ride the colored shape ledges today. Aaron Ross myself and Walter decided to drive up to that Trick or Treat contest from Nashville and thought it would be cool to go ride the shapes. Its like 6 hours out the way but oh well. Nathan was suppose to be with us but he hurt his foot and stayed home. We had the chance to stop be they city first. I called up Ed and hooked for a bit. I was pumped to get the tour of all the shops and even the Red Bull office there. Ed took me to see the Post, Front St, Dah Shop, and rolled through the Banks for about an hour, love that spot!

Sorry for not really posting anything in a while, for all those that check this. We had this taking off for a while cause of the updating going on to the site. My computer decided to take a little holiday trip(*my hard drive crashed*)the day before the site got done. So I took it in to get looked at 2 days later, right before a 3 week trip. I didn't get it back til I got home. When I did get it back I didn't have Photoshop any more and still don't. I should have it next week sometime, I hope.

These are taken with my cell phone camera and no its not an ipnone....I get one the end of the month, after a long long long anticipated wait. I had to wait for my contract to end before I could switch to ATT, it was either that or spend $250 to buy out of it. I chose to wait so I could just get my wife one also with that money.

This was in Salt Lake while hanging out at the dour tour. Dakota wasn't there, but if he was he would have said something along the lines of "Hey BRO, why don't we just take my sweet bus back to the hotel".

This was during the vert contest at the SLC dour tour. Its Kagy doing an unturn down. I just happen to catch the house flashes! What are the chances of doing that again?

So my back has been acting up on me for about a month 1/2 now. It has done this before, like 4 times now. I thought it would have been ok after about 3 weeks or so like before, but nope. I went to the chiropractor 3 times 2 weeks ago to try and see if that would help it get better before Will Stroud came to town trying to finish up some Levi's filming of Nathan and I but it wasn't working out so good for me. Back was not happy with me for trying to ride it off either. Nathan was able to get a few good things done down in BAMA and up in Nashville. I just shot photos of him haha wishing I could be riding with him.

Went to the Chiropractor again on monday just to give them another shot but this time I wanted to get another X Ray cause I haven't had one since the 1st time I went to visit, like 4 years ago. I was able to get some snaps of them from my phone just before I left. He said that my hips are UNEVEN and talked about how that was causing the pain in my lower back. Woke up today with less pain so I hope to back riding soon. I leave for the ESPY Awards Tuesday. Van Homan, Aaron Ross, Nigel, Garrett Reynolds and I are going to be doing a 15 min demo during the awards. I really want to be riding by then. Back home on Thursday for a few days then my wife and I are off for our cross country drive to the X-Games.

Should have some photos up from the awards show while i'm out there.

Well after a wild last few weeks, better things seem to be working out for me. My home owners insurance was able to cover my loss of camera stuff that got stolen in Barcelona. Got a new body and better lens plus 2 nice tripods. Bought a 15mm fish out of my own pocket just because I have been needing one so I thought why not get it now. As soon as I got the stuff out of the box I messed around in the garage with my rigged up flash umbrella's. I have a real kit on the way but I already had these that needed to be tested. Afterwards I went out with Seth to try to get a few snaps. We got some pretty good stuff that I'm saving to see if any of his sponsors need them. I'll try to throw up a couple of the ones I wont use for anything.

On Friday I was dropped from the Primo team. I'm still not really sure exactly what happened, but I do know there're a lot of misconceptions about the situation, most of them coming from the press release put out by Primo.

First off, I'd like to say that United is not starting a parts company or really even expanding their line of parts other than maybe a couple of small items. In any case, I never had any plans of leaving Primo to ride United parts. I was completely happy there. I told Nate that several times, and I only had Ian call him to try and convince him as well. Ian wasn't dealing with Primo for me, he was just trying to back up what I had already told them.

Second, I don't know what bike checks or sponsor lists Primo is referring to. I'm pretty sure I list Primo as a sponsor every chance I get. I have occasionally run competitor's parts, but that was over a year and a half ago and only for about a week or so, and even then there was no bike check. And as far as stickers go, I always have Primo stickers on my bike. I'm sorry if Primo feels differently.

I didn't want to write this but I felt I had to clear things up on my part for the people who don't know me. Seeing Primo's press release really upset me because they could have come to me first about those issues. I don't want this to become a back and forth ordeal so this is my final word on the subject. What's done is done. I've had an amazing five years on Primo, and I appreciate everything they've done for me. I'm just really bummed on this whole situation. Not only did they kick me off the team suddenly and without a good explanation, but they publicly made me and United out to be the bad guys. I just wanted to clear a few things up and present my side of the story.

So I guess I'm off Primo as of today. The only thing I got from it was because I don't run enough stickers or I guess have the photographer take photos of me where the primo stickers are showing. I think there is more to it but they wouldn't tell me. It was a good 4 and 1/2 nearly 5 years.

Brazil X- Games

Seth and I just arrived to Brazil for Street X-Games yesterday. We just made it to flight connection in ATL so when we got to Sao Paulo we had no clothes or bike. We chilled out for a bit and then slept for a bit then chilled out for a bit then slept again. Went to practice today and watched people ride and get sun burned. We took a few runs on other peoples bikes and the course seemed pretty cool. We get like an hour of practice in the morning so I can't wait to ride after not riding for 4 days. Got a few photos of some stuff plus a few riders during practice.

Levi's Cali Filming Trip

Well I just got home from a trip in cali filming for Levi's. We're filming for a full length Theatrical Team Film and also still doing the weekly non-theatrical edits for Vital. We were out in Cali for a week mostly in Riverside staying at Heath's house. Thanks for the floor space Heath. The trip consisted of myself, Dakota, Nathan, Brett Walker and Will Stroud. Overall trip went pretty good! Nathan did some sweet moves on a handrail one of witch I've never seen done so smoothly before. Dakota did a good ice grind but the Nathan later one up-ed him by doing it a little differently haha sorry Dakota it happens buddy. Brett's week didn't start off to good by spending 2 hours trying to film this video game line at this school the first day out. He nearly had it twice just slipped a pedal on the last trick. I hope he goes back to pull it for the Theatrical Film. I took some time to shoot a few photos while those guys were riding and some others ones of people that we ran into. Enjoy!

Nathan and I just got in to England this morning and been hanging out at the 4Down compound all afternoon. I've been up for what's going on 27 hours now cause I can never seem to sleep coming over here. Nathan couldn't hang with it so he passed out early. Well I have slacked on the updates since the OZ trip because I had to leave no more then 24 hours later after I got home. I had to go up to San Fran for a Levi's team meeting. It was fun, all 12 guys were out and learned a lot about the history of Levi's. I got a few snaps from the trip for yall! Enjoy.

Well I'm off to a good start for the United Australia Trip. Long story short, I went to the airport to fly out to Dallas then to LAX from there. They then told me that my flight was cancelled some time in January. I was rebooked all new flights to LAX but was not going to make the flight out to OZ. I called Qantas Airways to get a new flight, they gave me one for the next night out. I got to LAX and tried to call everyone I knew to see if I could chill till the next day sometime. Everyone I tried Was gone, leaving or had plans already haha. Awesome! I got a room for the night and checked out by 12PM went to eat and then back to airport to wait 10 hours. I hope all goes well today...
